And just like that we're nearing mid July!

I can't believe I had the wrong date for Sunday night's concert in my calendar. Lucky thing I looked up something about it before we left on Saturday!

So we saw Antman and the Wasp (really good!) and danced instead.

The concert was well worth attending and we saw some Prospectors people there, too.

Today I drove up to have lunch with Gee Gee. That made three times in as many days heading up Hamilton way! (Funeral, concert, Gee Gee). Luckily, I am mid audio book and it was great having the time to listen (on the way to and from the morning Max Challenge class is working too!)

Fourth of July

We had fun at Beej's party. It was great to see Kenny and Suzie and Roxanne and Craig and Dean, as well as the hosts. The food and fireworks were amazing.

Today was back to Max (looking forward to kick boxing day tomorrow) and dancing at Prospectors.

....to the Max!

July 2, 2018-Today was my 3rd day working out and eating following the Max Challenge program that I won ($499 worth!) at Carol Feldman's Purple Night to Shine fundraiser event. It was the hardest yet, but maybe because I went to the 5 a.m. and I hadn't eaten anything since early evening the night before.

My "usual" time ..so far...has been 9:30 and I like that but I am at Contact now for the 7 a.m. shift and I have Contact book club tonight so getting up at 4 a.m. (after going to bed midnight ish) seemed best.  I like the program and people so far. :-)  I am so lucky I won it!

So....since I was finished by 6 , I hung around awhile and then went to Wawa for coffee and an apple and someone said hi and it was Bill Kutteroff! He looks the same and I was so happy to see him!

We are going to Beej's on the 4th of July (for Michael's car's 50th birthday party and looking forward to seeing everybody!

Annual Delran Retirement Luncheon

I always enjoy attending the annual Delran Retirement Luncheon (used to be breakfast!) even though the number of staff I know dwindles more each year.

Ani McHugh was one of many current Delran teachers who are former students of mine!

I am happy to be their (very unofficial!) photographer and historian.

Leaving Nashville

We are on the drive home after a great week in Nashville for the CMA Music Fest. TN was still sunny all the way, but the rain came down as soon as we hit VA.
I have lots of photos, but will upload the best of them ....or a link to them all after we get home.

Hello again!

I can't believe I haven't posted anything since February and now it is practically June. Wow.

I have a lot of catching up to do!

Maybe I can find photos to remember the months' activities by....Well, that didn't work very well, but while I was trying I saw Florida in March which included visiting Diana, Joan and Ron, and fun in the sun. Myrtle Beach in May and saw the Brewins, Joanne Karwacki, and Piscataway classmates. Assorted events included several lunches- RSVP Volunteer Recognition, DEAR (retired friends). I enjoyed many nights and days of Prospectors dancing and concerts. Also, I was reminded of some Eastampton Senior events included book club and celebrating Dolly's birthday, ten years of HRB, and Tom's and my birthdays. Last but not least, due to the marvelous 'moviepass' we have seen a gazillion movies!

,
Tom all ready to go golfing!

And....Hannah, Seth, and baby Samuel have been at a hospital in Delaware for over a month now. We pray his health will continue improving.

The Mays celebrated Zoe's birthday in Japan! (and Cody has just changed jobs and moved to New York City!)

Lucky, but id theft alert

I got to the HR Office at 8. About 2 hours later, the pizza guy came in with my wallet (!) which he had found on the ground in the parking lot. OMG. Folding money was gone, but all (who knows ?) the cards, license, regis, ins card, seemed to be there.
Can you imagine? And how did I drop it? This could have been much worse. Thank God the person who found it knew me and recognized me from my license photo and brought it to me...and tG the former person who found it only cared about the money (hopefully...always a chance I missed something taken or they got the card numbers and will wait until I've forgotten the incident and start using them)

The Post was a good movie (I met Tom over there after work).

Hannah has to stay in bed in away from home in Little Rock for 8 weeks. Praying for Samuel David to make it; praying for a miracle.
