Lost in Piscataway....

I was so close to the Olive Garden in Piscataway at 12:05....but my GPS and skewed sense of direction had me driving in circles for over half an hour.

Maybe providence had a hand in that, though, because as I got out of my car I bumped into Class of '67 John Kapp, who had seen my notice about the lunch and stopped by to see if he saw anyone he knew heading in! :-)

So he joined me, and Gee Gee, Gemma, Ruth, Erna, and Tracy for a fun lunch.

This has been quite an eating time of year. Lunch with classmates, DEAR group, and coming up....Sandy, Conni....Kathryn.....Carol Brown.....Linda....whoo hoo!

Movie time too. Thursday we saw Now You See Me 2 (which, imo, was better than the first one, which I watched on tv a few days before), Me Before You, Warcraft, and Central Intelligence.

Britain is leaving the EU. The stock market tanked. Poor Alex and everybody....

Can't wait to see Jennifer in July! Whoo hoo!

Tom's surgery went well and he is doing great. (torn meniscus)

Gimmick photo from the CMA Music Fest

This photo of me waving in front of the Lyft screen is courtesy of Lyft, the Uber type service:

Oh, and here, too, is another bit from the CMA Fest. It's a video of me saying the Contact folks are my idea of humble and kind and Tim McGraw talks first.

Father's Day

I tried to collect as many photos of notable fathers in my current life I could find in a quick pass through oh so many photos I have on my computer.
Happy Father's Day to them, and to all the deserving fathers out there!

Another milestone

Yesterday (June 17th) was the fiftieth anniversary of my mother's death. So sad.

Today was the last day of the 2015-2016 school year. They had the retirement luncheon on Wednesday, the 15th. It's the first one I've missed, but Tom's surgery was scheduled and he needed me around for 24 hours. No one took pictures. :-(

We had a lot of fun at the CMA Music Fest in Nashville this year, even though poor Tom's aching knee curtailed some of our usual activities about town (his more than mine).
