Gee Gee!

Of course, the highlight of the day was lunch with Gee Gee. We had our usual lettuce wrap and then another (!) as well as my delicious mac and cheese and her straight up burger.

We talked for hours and wished we lived closer.

I had to drive home in some pretty ugly (oxymoron!) rain, but I made it (and stopped for Tom's expressed wish for a chocolate treat (or two..or six...).

There was some concern on my part yesterday when I got a bill from my car insurance company for $108.00. I thought I had paid off the whole thing already.
Lo and behold! When I called them this morning, it turns out they never gave me credit ($100 discount) for paying the whole thing at once in the beginning. So now I don't owe $108 anymore, which is great, but....
what if I just paid and hadn't questioned it????
Let this be a lesson to us all! Caveat emptor, right?

It seems tax season is almost half over. Wow...time flies when you're working EVERY DAY. (Well, I had off yesterday and today and will be off again on Thursday (so of course I'm overnighting on Wed after dancing....!)

I am so looking forward to lunch at Casamari Friday with the DEAR group!

Tom is holding up well despite his aches and pains and test scheduling and sleep apnea.( I heart Tom!)

Snow!

There's a huge snowstorm in the Northeast and we here in Burlington County are getting some of it. I don't know yet how and if this will affect work today at HR Block.

(Hello Margie in warm Myrtle Beach!)

Much has been going on since last I wrote. I've been working a gazillion hours at H&R Block, Tom is back to bowling but also has had some new medical issues to deal with so he has some dr's appointments and procedures coming up. We're still dancing, of course! We have slipped in a few social events here and there, but we'll have to do most of our catching up AFTER tax season.

Kristen Hannah is my current "read all of her books" author.

Sue recommends the tv series "Homeland" and I have seen the first two episodes of season one and am looking forward to future viewing.

It is early now (5:21 am.) (Reminds me of the old school snow days watch!) so perhaps I'll try and get some more sleep now......... :-)
