....and it is so cold! :-(
The journey home was lengthy and trafficky...but we finally made it.
The good part was stopping in NC to have lunch with Joanne Karwacki and John. We ate at Falcones. Yum yum! :-)
The four of us outside Falcones
(I'd rather have the picture, but I am still dealing with accessing googlephotos and googleplus!)

Heavy traffic for Mother's Day.....
We are in wall to wall traffic on 95. Where did all these people come from? Well, at least it's not raining, right?
We had a fun week in Myrtle Beach. It wasn't always the best of weather, but it was definitely warmer than back home. We did beach and pool and lazy river and 3 movies, saw Jo-Anne and Doug. I did the water exercise every morning. It was a good post tax season vacation.
Next up is a busy week leading up to my high school reunion. Whoo hoo!
I have pix up on the blog and assorted share sites but here are some, too.

Myrtle Beach or Bust
What terrible weather to be driving in! Poor Tom is doing a great job in this pouring rain, but it is pretty scary. Luckily we finished packing up the car before the downpour started.
I packed early because of being on the bus trip all day yesterday. First time ever!
The trip was fun. The show- Finding Neverland- was great. The restaurant where we ate -Scarlottos was a hit with my little crowd. A good time was had by all. Dolly made a great Tom fill-in.
When we get back next week there's a few events and activities before we head up North for the Piscataway Fiftyish Reunion . Should be fun!

What's New
We saw two movies in two days...."Criminal" with Kevin Costner on Monday and "The Boss" with Melissa McCarthy on Tuesday. Both were worth the price of admission.
My tax preparation days are over until next tax season. That's good timing because all my coming days are packed with plans of things to do...not the least of which is preparations for the upcoming reunion and picking a restaurant at which to eat after seeing "Finding Neverland" in NYC on the 30th.
Tom is really hurting with his knee but is holding off on dealing with it through therapy or surgery until after bowling is over, which domino-effects into after the next two trips are over, taking us all the way to mid June (and hopefully recovered in time for the Jamboree in the Hills) and will certainly be limiting what will be able to do in MB and Nashville. (Meanwhile he bowled close to an 800 series last night, so that was good, right?)
Lunch with Gee Gee yesterday was fun as always.
Today my goal is to contact formerly unreachable classmates by phone to inform them about the Fiftyish Reunion.

The end is near
Just about a week to go for tax season and one month until the Fiftyish Reunion.
Time sure flies!
I can't believe I forgot to take pictures at the committee meeting in Piscataway last night. Everybody liked the pens I ordered and we got a lot of items taken care of ...or at least designated to be done. The bad news is I never booked our room at the hotel and now we found out there aren't any available. :-( What to do, what to do....
Meanwhile, we are going to Myrtle Beach May 1 (packing and leaving after we get home late April 30th from the bus trip to NY to see Finding Neverland !??!)
I am sad that we are missing Margie and Mike who it appears will be in Myrtle Beach this week (or next?).
I still intend to call more classmates to let them know about/invite them to the reunion, but unless they are quite nearby it is probably too late. (That alumni information gathering company disk was a waste of money, that's for sure.)
Tom is hurting these days. I hope the therapy he has set up helps.

What a ride...what a view....
AZ is now in the past....so long, in fact, that I got my Shutterfly photo book back already in today's mail!
The online photos of Sedona and the Verde Valley Train Ride are up online for posterity and whenever I feel like revisiting them.
We had a wonderful time!

Arizona
We flew in via Southwest and they were so wonderful about transporting Tom via pushed wheelchair.
The traffic from the airport to our resort was horrible! (4 p.m. traffic) but we arrived safely and the place is beautiful....especially the pool....and our first floor window and porch facing it.
We had fun in the water.
I attended a morning pool exercise class and afternoon walking tour and lecture about the desert plantlife. Our horticulturist guide was awesome! I took a lot of photos (too bad I couldn't tape the whole talk!)

Steve and JoAnn Murza came to visit and then we went to a country bar for dinner and dancing.
We signed up for a ride in a hot air balloon for tomorrow and a scenic train ride on Monday.
I contacted former Delran student Danielle Sheeran who lives in Peoria AZ now and it turns out she lives walking distance from our resort!!! So she came over to visit.
We hope to get together again before we leave.
Then we journeyed to Buckeye to visit Steve and JoAnn Murza at their place for dinner and fun.
Here are the photos: https://picasaweb.google.com/118365729514060459107/AZMurzasVisit#
including our first one together.
We are looking forward to the rest of our time here (which, hopefully, will include visiting Cody, who currently lives in Scottsdale, but is away travelling with Patrick in Tokyo).
