My Eastampton Recreation Committee held a successful Movie Night last night. I missed dancing, but it was my first time working this event and it was fun. We didn't have that many people, but they all had a good time, I'm sure!
After over a month of having a flag-dotted lawn indicating digging for new electric underground wiring (and the added necessity of removing and replacing the flags for each lawn-mowing session), they finally got to us this morning. It's noisy and I'm nervous about them hitting anything while digging and my power going out, but other than that it's a fine day. We're looking forward to Margie's party.
We're up in the air with details about Tom's mom's upcoming stay with us while the Goff's make their transition to their new home in PA. (This is their fifth move in six years, I believe.....) Meanwhile, Dor and George will be here Fourth of July week-end and I'm hooking up with Gee Gee again soon, too. Then the start of HR Block classes, JITH, MB (Joanne?), hopefully getting some beach time with the NY Kayes upon their return, and other summer fun.
I am really looking forward to seeing my former colleagues at the Retirement Breakfast Monday. The whole current economic climate and its devastating effect on our public schools and the rest of us in NJ is of great concern to me.
Weather-wise it's been like walking into an oven once I get out the front door. (Can't wait to see the PSE&G bill this month.... :-(

Fun in Nashville
Well, sorry the Flyers didn't win, but times are happier here in Nashville. The CMA Fest officially starts tomorrow, but we have been enjoying the city's sights and sounds for a day or two. The 14 hour drive here was long but smooth sailing and the parade and entertainment today were fun. If a huge downpour and thunderstorm hadn't interrupted the Joe Nichols set it would have been perfect.
A big part of the fun here is meeting new people and sharing experiences with them. The dash to the shelter of the Visitor's Center with lightning flashing around us was a major bonding opportunity!

Big Decision
I made a big decision today. I hope it all works out. Don't ask.
Meanwhile, the XTU concert is tomorrow and that should be fun. Then on to bigger and better things......!
We had a lot of fun on the nature walk today. I learned a lot, too. I wish I had notes, but I do have pictures (not that I remember what anything is!)
